OGLE COUNTY — Northern Illinois CPR and First Aid, co-owned by the mother and son team of Lori Jasper and Zach Oltmanns, have successfully taught more than 1,000 students CPR.
For every minute that CPR is not done the chance of survival can go down as much as
10 percent. With no bystander CPR and no AED, a person has a less than 10 percent of survival. However, when local citizens are empowered to do bystander CPR and have access to an AED the chance of survival is close to 40 percent.
“We have traveled to many counties throughout Northern Illinois and we are proud to provide this service,” Jasper said. “CPR has made a huge impact on my life and I am happy to give back.”
“Since coming into business in 2017, it has been our pleasure to get out in the community to give people the tools, they need to help save a life,” Oltmanns said.
