The Rochelle Chapter NSDAR recently welcomed two new members. Pictured left to right are Vice Regent Lydia Roberts, new members Donna Misner and Mary Stufflebeam and Chaplain Mary Lou Kator. The National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution is a non-profit, non-political women’s volunteer organization dedicated to promoting historic preservation, education and patriotism. Any woman, regardless of race, religion or ethnic background, who can prove her lineage to a patriot of the American Revolution is welcome to join. The chapter’s next meeting will be on Friday, June 21 at 1:30 p.m. at Spring Lake Marina. Tom McDermott will be speaking on the history of Spring Lake.
