SYCAMORE — Northern Rehab Physical Therapy Specialists held their annual community collection of winter coats and accessories for the Sycamore United Methodist Church (SUMC) Coat Ministry.

Several large donations of coats, boots, scarves, hats and mittens (estimated over 150 items) were recently delivered by Northern Rehab’s Ken Olson and Melissa Payne Wagner.

“Part of Northern Rehab’s mission is to support organizations and programs that contribute to the well-being and needs of the community we serve,” Olson the Northern Rehab president and physical therapist, said. “We enjoy organizing this coat drive every year and are happy to do our part to help keep those in need in our community warm each winter. We’re thankful to our community for their generous donations to this cause.”

The SUMC Coat Ministry is open every Monday from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. during food pantry hours at the church located at 160 Johnson Ave. in Sycamore. For more information about Sycamore United Methodist Church, the coat ministry, food pantry or other information, please visit their web site at: www.sycamoreumc.org or call 815-895-9113.

Northern Rehab extends its gratitude to all of the community members that generously donated winter items in support of the SUMC Coat Ministry.
