Ogle County GOP donates goods to Lifeline

OREGON — The Ogle County Republican Party recently delivered its final batch of the election season of donated goods to Lifeline Food & Self-Help Project in Oregon, concluding a campaign that raised goods for the needy in exchange for Trump/Vance lawn signs.

Ogle County Chairman Mike Koolidge: “One of our precinct committeemen, Aaron Mudge, had the idea that instead of charging people for Trump/Vance lawn signs, which we paid for out of our own local party funds, we instead encourage people to donate to Life-Line in exchange for signs. It was a great idea, and it definitely helped us not only place upwards of 1,000 Trump/Vance lawn signs throughout the county, but it raised a substantial amount of goods for a great local charity.”

In this final week of the Election Season 2024, Koolidge encourages citizens to vote early if possible.

“The County Clerk has three different options for voting early: in person in the basement of the Ogle County Courthouse in Oregon, locally at various locations throughout the county, and of course voting on Election Day on Nov. 5 at your local precinct. However you decide to vote, the most important thing is that you do it!”
