On Jan. 31 at approximately 7:26 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Primrose Lane and Rolling Meadows Road in Davis Junction. After an investigation, Jorge Castaneda, 46, of Davis Junction was arrested for driving with no valid driver’s license. Castaneda was also cited for no insurance and improper lane usage. Castaneda was released on a notice to appear with a return court date.

OREGON — On Jan. 31 at approximately 7:26 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Primrose Lane and Rolling Meadows Road in Davis Junction. After an investigation, Jorge Castaneda, 46, of Davis Junction was arrested for driving with no valid driver’s license. Castaneda was also cited for no insurance and improper lane usage. Castaneda was released on a notice to appear with a return court date.
On Jan. 31 at approximately 10:42 p.m. deputies responded to an address in the 1,700 block of North Freeport Road, Polo, for a citizen complaint. After a brief investigation, a 16-year-old juvenile from Dixon was placed under arrest for illegal possession of liquor by a person under 21 and illegal consumption of liquor by a person under 21. The juvenile was issued his citations, released at the scene to a parent and shall appear in court at a later date. Additionally, Hannah J. Hilliard, 19, of Byron, and Brayden J. McCrary, 19, of Dixon, were also issued citations for illegal consumption of liquor by a person under 21 and shall appear in court at a later date.
On Jan. 31 at approximately 4:02 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 1,000 block of North River Road. After investigation, deputies placed Julio C. Ramos Jr., 23, of Rochelle, under arrest for driving while license suspended. Ramos also had two outstanding Ogle County warrants for failure to appear for possession of a controlled substance and for driving under the influence. Ramos was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he is being held in lieu of bond.
On Feb. 1 at 11:03 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 10,000 block of East Illinois Route 72. As a result, deputies arrested Chad S. Fant, 41, of Sycamore for driving while license revoked. Fant was additionally issued citations for no valid registration, improper display of registration, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. The passenger, Joseph T. Buckman, 39, of Rochelle was arrested for an Ogle County warrant for failure to appear, possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), and possession of drug paraphernalia. Buckman was additionally issued a citation for transport/carry alcohol passenger. Fant and Buckman were both transported to the Ogle County Jail. Fant was released on a notice to appear with a future court date. Buckman was released on a notice to appear on his new charges, and held in lieu of bond on the Ogle County warrant.
On Feb. 2 at approximately 9:19 a.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 1,000 block of South Illinois Route 2. After investigation, deputies placed Daniel Boemeke, 46, of Rockford under arrest for no valid license, a failure to appear Ogle County traffic warrant, a failure to appear Lee County traffic warrant, two counts of possession of a controlled substance (LSD and Psilocin mushrooms, class-four felony). Boemeke was additionally issued citations for operating an uninsured vehicle and operating a vehicle with a suspended registration. Boemeke was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was released on a notice to appear for all the charges and was held in lieu of bond for the warrants.
On Feb. 3 at 4:53 p.m. deputies conducted a warrant service in the 1,000 block of Pines Road, Oregon. After an investigation, Jonathan M. Robles, 35, of Oregon, IL was arrested for active Ogle County and Whiteside County warrants for failing to appear for traffic offenses. Robles was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held pending a court appearance before a judge.
On Feb. 4 at approximately 2:43 a.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop on Blackhawk Drive near Creekside Drive in Byron. After an investigation, Deontae G. Jarrett, 27, of Rockford, was placed under arrest for driving while license suspended. Jarrett was also cited for improper turn signal, improper display of registration, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Jarrett was released on a notice to appear.
All individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty.
