Ogle County Sheriff’s Report: June 10-12, 2025

On June 10 at 12:54 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of East Flagg Road and South Lowden Road. As a result, deputies arrested Shawn Gilmore 32, of Rochelle on a Lee County warrant for failure to appear/contempt. Gilmore was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond. Gilmore was additionally issued citations for operate a motor vehicle with registration suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Ogle County Sheriff’s Report: June 10-12, 2025

OREGON — On June 10 at 12:54 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of East Flagg Road and South Lowden Road. As a result, deputies arrested Shawn Gilmore 32, of Rochelle on a Lee County warrant for failure to appear/contempt. Gilmore was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond. Gilmore was additionally issued citations for operate a motor vehicle with registration suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. 

On June 10 at 9:45 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of East Illinois Route 38 and Mulford Road. After an investigation, Travis B. Maseman, 33, of Rochelle, was arrested for an Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. Maseman was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

On June 11 at approximately 12:37 p.m. deputies assisted Oregon Police Department in the 200 block of North 2nd Street near Kiwanis Park with suspicious subjects. While deputies were doing a search of the area, K9 Gator and his handler located a female hiding in a wooded area just north of the park. The female was identified as Ashley Paddie, 34, of Oregon, who was placed under arrest for an active Ogle County traffic warrant.  Paddie was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.  

On June 11 at 2:30 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 7,000 block of West Illinois Route 64.  After investigation, deputies placed Arian Ajvazi, 36, of Oregon, under arrest for Lee County contempt of court warrant. Ajvazi was additionally issued citations for speeding and unlawful container of cannabis/driver. Ajvazi was released on a notice to appear for the Ogle County citations and held in lieu of bond for the Lee County warrant. 

On June 11 at approximately 4:35 p.m. deputies responded to the 5,000 block of North German Church Road for a single-motorcycle crash. After an investigation, deputies determined that the driver, John Simmons, 34, of Rockford, was traveling northbound when he failed to negotiate a curve and lost control of his motorcycle, crashing into the east ditch. Simmons sustained suspected minor injuries and was transported to Swedish American Hospital. No citations were issued as a result of the crash.

On June 12 at approximately 8:20 a.m. Kamal N. Abdallah, 50, of Naperville was arrested when he turned himself in to the Ogle County Jail.  Abdallah was arrested on an Ogle County failure to appear warrant for possession of a controlled substance. He was unable to post the $4,387.14 bond and appeared in court on June 12 at 1 p.m.  After appearing in court, Abdallah posted the $150 bond set by the Judge, was released, and will appear in court again on July 28 at 9 a.m.


On June 12 at approximately 9:30 a.m. Michael E. Gamboa, 35, of Loves Park was arrested when he turned himself in to the Ogle County Jail.  Gamboa was arrested on an Ogle County warrant for driving while license suspended. There was no bond set on the warrant, and he appeared in court on Juhe 12 at 1 p.m. After appearing in court, Gamboa was released on a recognizance Bbnd, and will appear in court again on June 27 at 9 a.m.

All individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty.
