OREGON — On March 15 at approximately 6:16 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 1,000 block of South Illinois Route 251. After a brief investigation, deputies arrested Lashawn Love, 41, of Rockford, for driving while license revoked. Love was also issued a citation for following too closely. Love was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was released to correctional staff and held in lieu of bond

On March 16 deputies arrested Devante Wesley, 21, of Rockford for driving while license suspended and an outstanding Ogle County warrant. Wesley was arrested by deputies on Illinois Route 64 near Oregon after he was stopped for speeding. Wesley was held in lieu of bond at the Ogle County Jail.

On March 16 at approximately 5:48 p.m. deputies responded to a physical domestic disturbance at an address on Rogene Drive in Oregon. After investigation, deputies arrested Cale J. Sandell, 35, of Oregon, for domestic battery. Sandell was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held with no bond.  

On March 16 at approximately 7:30 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic in the 10,400 block of North Illinois Route 26. After investigation, the driver, Ethan Rogers, 52, of Leaf River, was arrested for driving while license revoked and an in-state warrant. Rogers was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond. Rogers was also cited for illegal window tint and expired registration. 

On March 17 deputies arrested Angel Speracino, 19, of Rockford for driving with no valid driver's license. Speracino was arrested by deputies on Interstate 39 near Monroe Center after being stopped for speeding. Speracino was released on an I-Bond and will appear in Ogle County Court at a later date.

On March 17 deputies arrested Meosha Adams, 33, of Rockford for driving while license revoked. Adams was arrested by deputies on Interstate 39 near Monroe Center after being stopped for speeding. Adams was held in lieu of bond at the Ogle County Jail.

On March 17 at approximately 8:57 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 17,000 block of East Illinois Route 72. After further investigation, deputies arrested Cassandra Ruiz, 29, of Rockford, for driving with no valid license. Ruiz was released on an Individual Bond and was given a later court date. Ruiz was also cited for illegal window tint and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

On March 17 at approximately 8:12 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 39 near mile marker 110. After brief investigation, deputies arrested Benjamin Spana, 37, of Rochelle for driving while license revoked. Spana was also issued a citation for improper lighting (one headlight). Spana was transported to the Ogle County Jail, where he was released to correctional staff and held in lieu of bond. 

On March 17 at approximately 4:30 p.m. deputies received a driving complaint of a semi-truck and trailer in the area of Illinois Route 2 south of Oregon. After searching the area, deputies with the assistance of Oregon Police, located the suspect vehicle. The commercial motor vehicle was observed to commit several driving infractions and subsequently a traffic stop was conducted. After a brief investigation, Austin Platzer, 28, of Nebraska, was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol. Platzer was also cited for illegal transportation of alcohol and improper lane usage. Platzer was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
