On Oct. 15 at approximately 7:44 a.m. deputies responded to the 100 block of Harvest Glenn Drive, Davis Junction, in reference to a physical domestic. After an investigation, a juvenile (age 16) was arrested for domestic battery and transported to Kane County Juvenile Detention Center for future court dates.

Ogle County Sheriff’s Report: Oct. 15-17, 2024

OREGON — On Oct. 15 at approximately 7:44 a.m. deputies responded to the 100 block of Harvest Glenn Drive, Davis Junction, in reference to a physical domestic. After an investigation, a juvenile (age 16) was arrested for domestic battery and transported to Kane County Juvenile Detention Center for future court dates.

On Oct. 15 at approximately 12:50 a.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop on a white Chevrolet sedan in the 6,000 block of West Lowell Park Road.  After a brief investigation deputies arrested Nancy L. Scudder, 34, of Rock Falls, for driving while license revoked. Scudder was also cited for improper turn signal.  Deputies also arrested Seth E. Wetter, 51, of Dixon, for possession of methamphetamine.  Both Scudder and Wetter were transported to the Ogle County Jail and issued notice to appears at a future court date.

On Oct. 15 at approximately 10:26 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop on a grey Chevy sedan near the intersection of Mud Creek Road and North Leaf River Road. After a brief investigation deputies arrested Megan A. Fuentes, 45, of Mt. Morris, for improper cannabis container. Fuentes was also cited for speeding. Fuentes was issued a notice to appear at a future court date.

On Oct. 17 at approximately 8:04 a.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop at Illinois Route 26 and Freeport Road. After an investigation, deputies arrested Horacio Gonzalez-Camacho, 42, of Freeport for no valid license and speeding. Gonzalez-Camacho was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was processed and released on his citations with a notice to appear.

On Oct. 17 at approximately 10:37 a.m. deputies arrested David C. Choice, 29, of Rockford, at the Ogle County Courthouse.  Choice was arrested on an outstanding no bond warrant for driving while license suspended. He appeared in court at 1 p.m., was issued a recognizance bond, and was released.  Choice will appear in court again on Nov. 12 at 9 a.m.

All individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty.
