ROCHELLE — The Ogle County Sheriff's Department is seeking information leading to the arrest of a man wanted for an alleged stabbing early Sunday morning.

At approximately 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 2, the Ogle County Sheriff's Office responded to the 10000 block of E. Fisher Road in the Shangri La Trailer Park for the report of a stabbing incident.

Upon arrival, the victim was found to have sustained serious injuries and was transported to a Rockford hospital.

Subsequently, police are asking for assistance in locating Francisco Javier Vasquez, 26, of Rochelle.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged to call the Ogle-Lee Crime Stoppers at 1-888-228-4488. Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest in this case.
