ROCHELLE – The Rochelle Area Community Foundation (RACF) will open the 2022 Community Needs Grant Cycle for all non-profit partners on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022, through Tuesday, March 1, 2022.
To apply, please visit the RACF website at www.rochellefoundation.org and hover over the “Grants” tab. Simply click “Apply,” log-in, fill out the application and submit.
RACF is looking for non-profit partners who have innovative programs or projects that will have a significant impact on the community and those they serve. To qualify for a grant, you must be a charitable entity that serves the Rochelle, Kings, Chana, Lindenwood, Esmond, Steward and Creston area. RACF will announce the grant recipients in May 2022.
“We are coming off of an incredible year of support from our community members and donors,” Kathy Hollonbeck, chair of the grants committee, said. “We were fortunate to have funded 29 grants in 2021 with the assistance of some COVID-19 Relief Funding combined with endowment distributions.”
“You can feel the enthusiasm in the air from not only our nonprofits looking to apply but also from our RACF board members,” Emily Anaya, executive director of the RACF said. “Each person who serves on the board truly has a philanthropic heart, loves this community, and wants to make a difference in the lives of others. The grant process is another vehicle of service and allows each one of us a chance to be a part of community impact and positive change. We expect a pretty competitive grant cycle this year and we are looking forward to reading each request.”
