ROCHELLE – The Rochelle Area Community Foundation (RACF) is thrilled to announce the resounding success of this year’s Giving Tuesday campaign, which raised an impressive $13,900 — well surpassing the $10,000 goal. This achievement was made possible through the extraordinary generosity of individual donors and the steadfast support of our community partners.
The RACF extends heartfelt gratitude to its partners, including Central Bank, Holcomb Bank, Stillman Bank, First State Bank, Midwestern Clothing Company, EarlyAct-St. Paul School, InterAct-RTHS, the City of Rochelle, Rock Valley Credit Union, and Maplehurst. Their commitment and contributions played an integral role in helping us exceed our fundraising goal, further strengthening RACF’s ability to support local nonprofits through endowment funds.
“The success of this year’s Giving Tuesday is a testament to the power of collaboration,” Emily Anaya, executive director of RACF, said. “It’s inspiring to see businesses, schools, and individuals come together to invest in the future of our community. These funds will directly support local nonprofit organizations and initiatives that make Rochelle and the surrounding area a better place for everyone.”
Ashley Jackson, RACF board president, emphasized the impact of this community-wide effort: “Giving Tuesday reminds us of the incredible generosity that exists here in Rochelle. It’s not just about the dollars raised; it’s about the message we send when we come together to make a difference. We are deeply grateful to our partners and donors for helping us far exceed our goal this year.”
This year’s campaign highlights the vital role RACF plays in fostering collaboration and addressing the needs of the Rochelle community. From matching gifts and fundraising events to the dedication of youth-led groups like EarlyAct-St. Paul School and InterAct-RTHS, every contribution made a difference.
Donations raised will support a number of funds held at RACF, ensuring ongoing support for local nonprofits through its yearly competitive grant process.
