Rochelle Community Hospital recently obtained a new portable x-ray unit. In turn, RCH donated their old portable x-ray unit to Kishwaukee College. This equipment will give radiology students access to hands-on learning with a portable unit which they did not currently have in the department. RCH has had a partnership with Kishwaukee College to clinically train radiology students for at least 40 years. Pictured left to right are Kishwaukee College staff Lori Damask, radiologic clinical facilitator; Amy Anthenat, radiologic clinical coordinator; Jerry Fox, director of radiography; and Joy Miller, RCH radiology manager.
