ROCHELLE — From an idea that started more than 20 years ago, the construction of a new community center in Rochelle has been a long time in the making. The Flagg-Rochelle Community Park District is nearing the completion of the year-long construction for the new, REC Center.
The REC has over 91,000 square feet of recreation opportunities for all ages. Combat the “quarantine 15” at the 24-hour REC Fitness Center, start the morning with a splash in the REC Aquatic Center, or have join a pick-up game in the REC Fieldhouse. Whatever your passion may be, The REC offers healthy fun for the community to play, learn, connect and compete.
