Refrigerated van will benefit food pantry

ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Christian Food Pantry received a new refrigerated van from Dave Drayna of Zanotti Central States in Brookfield, Wisconsin on Monday, Dec. 7. The Northern Illinois Food Bank and the Rochelle Community Foundation provided grants to purchase the van. Graphics on the van were partially donated by Jose Villegas of Jesus Artz & Productionz, LLC.
The Pantry Board would like to thank the Northern Illinois Food Bank, the Rochelle Community Foundation and the Rochelle community for their generosity. This new refrigerated van will enable the food pantry to better maintain food quality, enhance food safety and allow access to donations that had previously been denied because of the lack of a refrigerated vehicle.
