DIXON— State Representative Tom Demmer (R-Dixon) is continuing his mobile office hours in September with an event planned on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at the Hub City Senior Center in Rochelle.
Between the hours of 10 and 11 a.m., residents of the 90th Legislative House District are invited to meet with a member of Demmer’s legislative staff at the Hub City Senior Center, located at 401 Cherry Ave. in Rochelle.
“These events are vitally important, because they provide my staff and me with an opportunity to connect with 90th District residents who don’t live near my district office in Dixon,” said Demmer. “I attend these events as my schedule allows, but a member of my staff is always available to talk with residents about the services available through my office and to assist with issues involving state agencies.”

Connie Dougherty, executive director of the Hub City Senior Center, said area seniors are looking forward to the event.
“I believe it’s an excellent idea for Representative Demmer to host mobile office hours at the Hub City Senior Center so that the issues of our local senior citizens can be addressed,”Dougherty said. “Although social media is second nature to our younger generations, most older adults are more comfortable asking questions and discussing issues face to face. We are very thankful that Representative Demmer cares about the issues that concern the elderly and are looking forward to being a host site for his mobile office.”
No appointment is needed and the event is open to all District 90 residents. Future mobile office hours dates and locations will be posted on Rep. Demmer’s web site at tomdemmer.org.
