Rochelle  – RMU is again offering the summer saver electric rate program for residential customers.  Customers can save money by reducing their electric usage between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Friday during the months of June through September.  

With the summer saver rate, you will be billed $0.2202 per kilowatt hour during peak hours (2 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday through Friday) and $0.0783 per kilowatt hour during off peak hours. The current summer residential rate is $0.1275 per kilowatt hour for usage at any time.
