ROCHELLE — RMU offers an energy assistance program for those in need.
In January and February alone, 22 households have received financial assistance with utility bills and funds are still available for approximately another 200 households. Residents who meet the income guidelines are encouraged to apply.  

The RMU Residential Utility Assistance Program provides monetary assistance for qualifying RMU residential utility customers in the amount of $300 per household each calendar year.  The financial assistance is based on income.  The combined gross income for all adults permanently living at the residence must be at or below 150 percent of the federal poverty guidelines for the previous 30 days.
