ROCHELLE — Roger A. Krahenbuhl, 68, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, Nov. 9. Roger was born on Aug. 20, 1953 to LaVerne “Bub” and Donna (Moluf) Krahenbuhl in Rochelle. On Nov. 26, 1975, he married Mary D. Askvig in Rochelle. Roger worked his entire life for his family business, Krahenbuhl Chrysler Jeep.
Roger enjoyed off-roading in Colorado, fishing and boating in Wisconsin and traveling in his motorhome with his wife and dog, Lucy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kenny.
Roger is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary; sister, Lynn (Ed) VanVickle of Rochelle; nephew, Brian (Marla) VanVickle, nieces: Amy (Casey) Kilduff, Jaime (Sam) Askvig-Sitzman and Julia (Lauren) Askvig.
Memorial visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 15 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. Burial will be at a later date in Lawnridge Cemetery. Cremation care has been provided. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Roger’s memory to Hub City Cruisers or Serenity Hospice and Home.
