ROCHELLE – City of Rochelle Engineer Sam Tesreau has announced Steward Road, between South Main Street and the Ogle County line south of the City Railroad crossing, will be under construction beginning Monday Aug. 5 until Aug. 30. It is anticipated the roadway will be open to traffic, utilizing flaggers, during the construction operations but will frequently be down to one lane.
Advance warning, flaggers, barricades, detour and other temporary traffic control devices will be posted near the affected area. Please use caution while traveling in this area and pay special attention to the advanced warning signage, flaggers, road closed signage and other temporary traffic control devices within or in advance of the work zone. We appreciate your patience during this project.
