Teen arrested after trying to elude police

On Sept. 30 at approximately 1:30 a.m., Ogle County deputies attempted to stop a vehicle on Illinois Route 251 at Illinois Route 64. The vehicle fled from deputies and was later stopped on Flagg Road near Rochelle after striking stop sticks. After conducting an investigation it was learned that the vehicle was stolen from Rockford. The 16-year-old female driver was taken into custody and charged with aggravated fleeing to elude, driving while suspended, and speeding. She was transported to a juvenile detention center where she will be held pending a court appearance.
Sept. 28
On Sept. 28 at approximately 10 p.m., Ogle County deputies conducted a traffic stop on a white Chevy Lumina in the 7600 block of North River Road. After conducting an investigation Kieth Britsch, 54, of Oregon, was arrested for driving while license revoked. Britsch was transported to the ogle County Hail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Sept. 29
On Sept. 29, at 3:05 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop, for a registration violation at Willow Road and 1st Street in Forreston. After a brief investigation, deputies arrested Kolby J. Morningstar , 20, of DeKalb, for driving on a suspended license.  Morningstar was taken to the Ogle County jail and held in lieu of bond.
