MENDOTA — Timothy Michael Kromm, aged 70, passed away on January 29, 2025, in Mendota, IL. Celebration of Life will be February 16 from 1:30-3:30pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church Compton with Rev. Jeff Schlesinger officiating. Services will begin at 3:30pm with burial of ashes immediately following in the church cemetery. Cremation rites have been accorded. Wasmer Funeral Home is privileged to assist the family. Born on October 18, 1954, Timothy was known for his friendly, compassionate nature, and a strong work ethic, qualities that endeared him to all who knew him.

Timothy dedicated many years of his life to his career as a Case Implement Mechanic, a role that showcased his hardworking and loyal attributes. He was a graduate of Mendota High School, which laid the foundation for his professional achievements.

A man of faith, Timothy was an active member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Compton, where he also enjoyed socializing with fellow congregants. His hobbies included hanging out with friends, playing pool and euchre. He enjoyed listening to music and attending concerts. He enjoyed watching old westerns. He had a deep love for the Chicago Bears, but he most loved watching his grandchildren excel at life. These activities reflected his vibrant, sociable personality and his ability to enjoy life's simpler pleasures.

Timothy is survived by his son, Andy Kromm; daughter, Kelly Becker; son in law, Pat Becker; grandchildren, Bailey (Kyle) Pike, Madelyn Becker, and Drew Becker; brothers, Steve Kromm, Bob Kromm, and Dave Kromm; and sisters-in-law, Pam Kromm, Luann Kromm, and Laurie Kromm. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Geraldine Kromm.

A service to celebrate Timothy's life will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Compton February 16th where he was a cherished member. His memory will live on not only through his family and friends but also through the legacy of his kindness and dedication to helping others.
