CLERMONT, Florida —Tom “Pete” Peters, 68, formerly of Rochelle, passed away peacefully Saturday, Aug. 8, 2020, at his home in Clermont, Florida, surrounded by his family.
Tom, a Marine Veteran, was born in Rochelle, on July 19, 1952. Tom and Joanne moved to Clermont, Florida, in 2017 to live their longtime dream of golf, sunshine, and Florida-life.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, and high school sweetheart, Joanne (Highland) Peters. Tom is also survived by his two beautiful daughters, Jana Peters Brodsky and Jill Peters; grandchildren, Jake Peters, Jared Kinn, Ellie Kinn, Julian Brodsky, and Dominic Brodsky; father, Jim Peters; and brothers, Dave and Joe.
Tom is preceded in death by his mother, Christine, and brother, Gary.
Private services will be held at a later date.
