OREGON — The Rochelle Lady Hub freshman volleyball team won all three of its matches at the Oregon Invitational on Saturday, finishing first in the tournament.
Rochelle rallied for a 13-25, 26-24, 15-7 victory over Genoa-Kingston in the first round before topping Belvidere 25-18, 25-27, 15-2 in the second round. The Lady Hubs battled Hall Township for the tournament title, winning 25-20, 17-25, 15-10.
The freshman team includes Giselle Garcia, Lauren Dyer, Emma Kennay, Sydney Carmichael, Ali
Ohlinger, Kendyl Darby, Adelita Alvarez, Flor Magana, Abby Metzger, Adamary Lopez, Erin Murphy and Payton Cesarone. The team is coached by Katie Roush.
