SYCAMORE — The Rochelle Lady Hub varsity volleyball team continued Interstate 8 Conference play with a road match against Sycamore on Thursday evening. Senior Dempsey Atkinson recorded 10 digs and two aces, while juniors Meredith Bruns and Jaydin Dickey combined for 12 assists as the Lady Hubs fell to the Spartans 20-25, 15-25.

Dickey collected nine digs and Bruns added four digs for the Lady Hubs (10-17-1, 0-6 Interstate 8), who will host Kaneland next Tuesday.  Freshman Jillian Bruns totaled five kills and two digs, while junior Audyn Kemp posted four kills and sophomore Briel Metzger notched three kills in the match.
