ASHTON — Wilma J. "Blossom" Lee age 75 of Ashton died Tuesday Jan. 14, 2025 at OSF St Anthony Medical Center in Rockford.  She was born July 16, 1949 in Sevierville, TN the daughter of Robert and Eula (Maples) Jones.  Wilma worked at Caron Yarn in Rochelle for 10 years and then dedicated her life to raising her family and being a Homemaker. She enjoyed tending to her flower gardens, cooking southern food and shopping for unique treasures. Wilma married Joseph W. Lee on Aug. 1, 1969 in Oregon, IL.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Elizabeth Lee, son-in-law Tom Cleary, siblings Judy Newman, Carson "Ike" Breeden, Terry Breeden, and Tony Breeden.

Wilma is survived by her husband Joe, children Mary Cleary of Dixon, Cindy (Dan) Furman of Dixon, Joey Lee of Ashton, son-in-law Donnie Geiger of Sheffield, 6 grandchildren Amanda Droege, Zachary Lee, Dakota Geesey, Chloe Furman, Colton Russell and Hunter Furman.  She is also survived by siblings James (Geraldine) Maples, Sam (Linda) Smith and Mary Jo Phoenix all of Tennessee. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday Jan. 18, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home in Dixon.  Graveside services will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Dixon.  A memorial has been established. Condolences can be left at www.thejonesfh.com.
