ROCHELLE — Wilma Nicole Dillon Nance, 71, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 10 at the Rochelle Community Hospital. Wilma was born on June 4, 1950, to William and Mary (Lawson) Dillon in Rochelle.
Wilma was a NASCAR, college football and NFL sports fan. She loved life and people, finding good in all. She believed in God and knew no matter what life brought her way, he was always there to save us.
She loved her significant other, Dan. She loved watching auto racing and football with him. She said she liked to argue with him and, a little while later, make up. Their arguments were always in good fun. She loved her twin sisters. She was more proud of them and loved them more than they will ever know. Family was very important to her.
Wilma is survived by her significant other, Dan Davis of Rochelle; her sisters, Virginia Gouker of Chana and Verne Williams of Macomb and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Wilma is preceded in death by her father, William Dillon; mother, Mary Lawson Dalberg; step-father, Clyde Dalberg; brothers William E. Dillon and Ole Dalberg and nephew, Jay Dillon.
Cremation care has been provided by Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16 at Flagg Center Cemetery. Please visit www.ungerhorner.com to sign the online guest book.
