Woman arrested after attempting to elude officers

On June 5 Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies attempted to stop a vehicle on Illinois Route 251 near Dutch Road for speeding. The driver of the vehicle sped away in an attempt to flee and elude deputies. The vehicle stopped on Interstate 39 near mile marker 95 after having mechanical problems. The driver, Karen Schroeder, 52, of Rochelle, was arrested for aggravated fleeing to elude and driving on a revoked license. Schroeder was held in lieu of bond at the Ogle County Jail.
On June 5 at approximately 9:50 a.m., Ogle County deputies, with the assistance of the Oregon Police Department, conducted a traffic stop in the 6,000 block of East Illinois Route 64. During the traffic stop the driver of the vehicle, Kenneth A. Henry, 32, of Peoria, fled on foot. After a short foot chase, Henry was taken into custody. Henry was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a suspended license, no valid driver’s license, resisting arrest, illegal transportation of alcohol, failure to signal, improper lane usage, failure to wear seatbelt and operation a vehicle with no insurance. Henry also had an outstanding warrant. Henry was transported to the Ogle County jail where he is being held in lieu of bond.
June 6
On June 6, Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop at Freeport Road and Robin Road where they arrested Teodoro Jimenez-Viveros, 21, for driving while license suspended. Jimenez-Viveros was also cited for have no front registration plate. Jimenez-Viveros was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
June 8
On June 8 at 7:18 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Meridian Manor Trailer Park for the report of a disturbance. After an investigation, Jessica A. Hill, 18, of Stillman Valley, was arrested for battery and disorderly conduct. Hill was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.
