On Aug. 14, at approximately 10:39 p.m., deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 16000 block of West Illinois Route 72. After further investigation, Montana Ils, 22, of Freeport, was placed under arrest for driving while license suspended. Ils was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.
On Aug. 15, Mariko Ubale, 26, of Chicago, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for driving 26-34 m.p.h. over the limit. Ubale posted the $5,000/10 percent bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail with a return court date of Sept. 6 at 9 a.m.
On Aug. 15, at 7:24 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 7000 block of North Illinois Route 251 for an equipment violation. After a short investigation Trendall Lewis, 37, of Rochelle, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Lewis was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held.
