OMRO, Wis. — The Rochelle Wrestling Club sent three athletes to the 2025 Omro Youth Wrestling Tournament on Sunday, Feb. 16. Nehemiah Andronic and Elias Andronic each brought home first-place finishes, while Grant Cole earned a third-place finish in the meet.
Elias Andronic won the 2016-17 61-68 Division title with a 3-0 record. Andronic scored a 17-5 major decision against Omro Foxes wrestler Camdyn Henry before outlasting Aviators wrestler Gunnar Roffers for a 13-10 sudden victory in overtime. Andronic clinched his championship with a 13-4 major decision over Appleton North Youth Wrestling’s Colton Reiland in the final round.
Nehemiah Andronic won the 2014-15 79-81 Division with a 3-0 record. Andronic opened the tournament with a fall over Southside Lutheran’s Marshall Moen before picking up a 15-2 major decision over Winneconne Wolves wrestler Roman Dain. Andronic sealed his championship crown with a fall over Wrightstown wrestler Cooper Heim in the third and final round.
Cole took third in the 2014-15 76-79 Division with a 2-1 record. Cole earned a fall over Southside Lutheran’s Oscar Kacmarynski in the opening round before scoring a 7-0 decision against Winneconne Wolves wrestler Milo Wenzel in the second round of the tournament.
