MILTON, Wis. — The Rochelle Wrestling Club sent two athletes to the 2025 Milton Monster Mash on Sunday, Feb. 16. Cooper Harris and Chase Marruffo represented the club, with both wrestlers bringing home third-place finishes in the tournament at Milton High School.
Harris went 5-1 over six bouts to take third in the 8U 62 Boys Division. Harris won his first three matches, earning a first-round fall over Belvidere’s Bobby Faraher before scoring an 18-2 technical fall against Slinger Red Rhinos wrestler Daxton Trimberger. Harris, who reached the semifinals with a fall over Maverick Training Center’s Trace Haugen, bounced back from a loss with a 15-0 technical fall over Badger Youth Wrestling’s Theodore Ecklund and a 17-0 technical fall over Belvidere’s Jesse Farana to end the tournament in third place at his weight division.
Marruffo went 4-1 over five bouts to take third in the 10U 105 Boys Division. Marruffo opened the tournament with a 15-0 technical fall over Milton Monsters wrestler Kyron Smith and an 11-4 decision against Belvidere Bandits wrestler Braxton Slack. After a semifinal-round loss, Marruffo clinched third place with an 8-0 major decision over Slinger Red Rhinos wrestler Carson Aulenbacher and a 6-4 decision against Oregon Youth Wrestling Club’s Everett Wachter.
