ROCHELLE — Daniel Sanchez, 64, passed away peacefully on Nov. 27, 2018 at his home in Rochelle surrounded by his family.
Daniel was born on June 27, 1954 in Mission, Texas to Dionicio and Tomasa (Sanchez) Sanchez. He married Rose Mary Reyna on April 28, 2000 in Waurika, Oklahoma. He worked for Cedar Siding as a truck driver for many years.
In addition to his parents, Dan is preceded in death by his sister, Silvia Tague, and his mother and father-in-law, Sylvia and Tony Reyna.
Dan is survived by his wife, Rose Mary of Rochelle; children, Roman (Rachel) Esquibel of Wichita Falls, Texas, Tessie Gibson, Princessa (John) Mills of Plymouth, Indiana and Milagro Sanchez of Rochelle; nine grandchildren, Joann, Rudi Blair, Robert, and Lupi Rodriguez, Haley, John, Tolman, Collin and Seth Mills; brother-in-law, John (Chastity) Reyna; six sisters-in-law, Olivia (James) Burdette, Angela (George) Perez, Carolina Reyna Meza, Dora (Nestor) Ledesma, Christian Reyna Garcia and Susan Reyna Garcia; nine great-grandchildren; nephew, Ron Bandy; five nieces: Marisa, Marina and Sami Tague, Maricela Montelongo and Miranda; and four great-nephews, Leon Tague, Mike Bandy, Dillon Bandy and Barrett Stockton.
The visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. The funeral will follow at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Pastors Leo Oliveira and Duane Boehm officiating. Burial will be in Texas.
