ROCHELLE — Joyce Ann Bearrows, 73, passed away at her daughter’s home on Friday, Jan. 21, 2022. She was born on April 15, 1948 in Dixon, the daughter of Roy and Edris (Ludwig) Myers.
Joyce married W. Dale Bearrows on Jan. 31, 1970, he preceded her in death on June 5, 2017. She worked for over 30 years at AG Manufacturing / Eatons in Rochelle. Joyce enjoyed sewing and reading, but above all, she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children: Bill (Dawn) Bearrows of Highland Village, Texas, and Connie A. Bearrows of Rockford; granddaughter, Ashley Bearrows and two great grandchildren: Liam Bearrows and Lincoln Bhamdeo of Highland Village, Texas; brother, Ron (Rev. Joy) Myers of Glen Carbon, Illinois; brothers-in-law: Rick (Marla) Bearrows, Don Bearrows, Paul (Barb) Bearrows and Brian (Patricia) Bearrows; sister-in-law, Karen Bearrows; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter, Debra Bearrows on Nov. 20, 1999.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022 at the First Presbyterian Church, 1100 Calvin Rd., Rochelle. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., Wednesday with Rev. Dr. Doug Forsberg officiating. Burial at Trinity Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church or Pro Medica Heartland Hospice.
