Rochelle — Monique Lucie Cote, 92, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Presence St. Anne Center in Rockford.
Monique was born on Sept. 13, 1925 to Philippe and Alma (Routhier) Cote in Lister Station, Quebec, Canada.
She is preceded in death by her son, Hillary Carlson; eight brothers, Emile, Antonio, Henri, Robert, Raoul, Alcide, Roger and Jean Louis Cote; and six sisters, Rita Nicole, Mary Anthenat, Alda Farnham, Margaret Walters, Bertha Tarkenton and Jeannine Rioux.
Monique is survived by her two brothers, Bertrand J. Cote and Jules “Luke” E. Cote, both of Rochelle, and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 9 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 236 Kelley Drive, Rochelle. The memorial mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. with Father Jeremy Trowbridge and Father Ruben Herrera officiating. Inurnment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Rochelle.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
