DIXON — Robert (Rob) M. Williams Sr., 35, of Dixon formerly of Ashton, passed away unexpectantly on Jan. 20, 2018 in Dixon. Rob was born on Nov. 8, 1982 to Jerry and Carrie (Stehl) Williams.  Rob attended Ashton schools, played baseball and wrestled. He enjoyed the outdoors hunting and fishing, but his biggest joy was his son Robert Jr.
Rob is survived by his mom, Carrie (Doug) Vaughn of Dixon; his dad, Jerry Williams Jr. of Ashton; his son, Robert Jr. (5); one sister, Lysa (Nik Pankhurst) Williams of Dixon; two brothers, Jerry (Mindy Robertson) Williams Sr. of Ashton and Jamin Soria of Dixon; nieces and nephews, Madison, Jerry, Adalynn and Hunter.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, Jan. 27 at 12 p.m. at the Beverage Lyons Family Funeral Home, 601 Richardson Ave. in Ashton with Rev. Farrel Stauffer officiating. Visitation will be held same day from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment to follow at Ashton Cemetery, Ashton.
His pall bearers will be Brad Holloway, Chuck Ellis, Mark Ellis, Tommy Ellis, Tommy Vogeler and Chris Woodall.
