ASHTON — Andrew Thomas Waters, 46, passed away unexpectedly in a tractor accident Sunday, August 25, 2024 at his family’s homestead in Ashton, Illinois. Andrew was born on June 1, 1978, to Robert and Donna (Herrmann) Waters in Rochelle, IL.  On May 12, 2001, he married Angela Joy Seebach at the United Methodist Church in Ashton.  He worked for Bayer for the last 25 years in various positions.

Andrew enjoyed a variety of activities, such as, four-wheeling, boating, golfing, ice fishing, farming and music.  He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church where he served as head usher, a member of the Knights of Columbus and he served on the Ashton Township Board.  Andrew loved his church but more than anything, he loved his family and the time he spent with them as well as his friends who were like family to him.

Andrew is survived by his wife, Angela of Ashton; four children: Aidan Ellsworth, Alyssa, Austin and Avamarie Waters; his parents, Bob and Donna Waters of Steward, IL; mother-in-law, Beverly Seebach of Ashton, IL; three brothers: Matthew (Jan) Waters of Lindenhurst, IL, Mark (Lisa) Waters of Batavia, IL and Michael (Dee) Waters of Escanaba, MI; sister-in-law, Lisa (Jeremy) Munson of Rockford, IL; three nieces and a nephew, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  

He was preceded by his father-in-law, Warren Seebach.

Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M., Friday, August 30, 2024 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle.  The funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, August 31, 2024 at St Patrick Catholic Church, 236 Kelley Drive, Rochelle with Father Jesus Dominguez officiating.  Burial will follow the service at Ashton Cemetery in Ashton, IL, and then everyone is invite back to a luncheon at  the St. Patrick Parish Center.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help during this difficult time.
