OREGON – The Ogle County Solid Waste Management Department will hold the first monthly electronic recycling event for 2019 on Friday, Jan. 25, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the County Annex Building located at 909 Pines Road in Oregon.
Identification is requested for event participation. Acceptable forms of identification include a drivers’ license, property tax bill, or recent utility bill showing address.
Items accepted at this event include all televisions, all computer monitors, computer towers, laptop computers, printers, FAX machines, copiers, cell phones, tablets, DVD/ VCR players, video game consoles, keyboards, electronic mice, computer cables, computer speakers, routers, servers, mainframes, UPS back-up units, stereo equipment, radios, digital clocks, holiday light strands, extension cords, landline phones and answering machines, calculators, rechargeable batteries, printer ink cartridges, and CFL bulbs. Microwave ovens are accepted at a charge of $5 per unit.
