ARLINGTON HEIGHTS — Noah Griffith’s standout high school tennis career came to an end at the state tournament in Arlington Heights on Thursday, as the Hub senior won one match and lost two.
This is the third trip to the IHSA State Tournament for Griffith, who ends the season with a 28-5 record.
In his first match of the day Griffith fell 6-1, 6-1 to Chicago University’s Arjun Asokumar, but bounced back in the consolation bracket to defeat Seth Jorgensen, of Cornerstone Christian Academy, by a score of 6-2, 6-0.
