ROCHELLE — There will be plenty of fun Wednesday on the Fourth of July in the “Hub City,” including a parade in the morning and activities, food, music and fireworks at Cooper and Atwood parks later in the day and evening.
The parade will kick-off in downtown Rochelle at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The route begins at Sixth Street and Fifth Avenue, will turn right on Lincoln Highway, right on Lincoln Avenue, right on Ninth Street, left on 10th Avenue and end at Cooper Park.
The Rochelle Moose will be selling pork chop sandwiches in the parking lot south of the building, located at Main St. and Cherry Ave., from 1 to 5 p.m. on the 4th of July to benefit Pegasus Special Riders.
