Resolve to read more this year

ROCHELLE – New year, new you! Set a resolution to read more books or expand a genre in 2017. Flagg–Rochelle Public Library has announced story times for young and old during the cold winter months.
During January pre-school story time will feature stories and activities for children age three to five. Children must be 3 years old by January 12.
Story Times will be held on Thursday evenings: Jan. 12, 19 and 26 from 6:15 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday morning sessions will be held on Jan. 13, 20 and 27 from 10:15 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Pokémon gamers in grades second through eighth will be meeting at the Flagg-Rochelle Public Library one Saturday afternoon each month. Pokemon For Young Players will be meeting on Jan. 21, Feb. 18, March 18, and April 15 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
All students need to bring are cards or hand-held games and so forth, or just come for the fun. All welcome to join and bring along a friend. There is no fee to join this group. A book discussion for adults will be held one evening a month at the library.
The Library will furnish the books, so readers do not have to supply their own copy. Dates and titles for this winter include: Jan. 17: Georgia: a Novel of Georgia O’Keefe by Dawn Tripp. Feb. 21: The Residence: Inside the Private World of the White House by Andersen Brower. March 21st: Sound of Gravel: a Memoir by Ruth Wariner.
