Show details
Opening the show will be Country Music’s Modern-Day Johnny Cash, Rising Star Carter Winter. Fitting the part of the man in black, Winter is country music’s modern traditionalist. His raw, honest, and fresh sound behind his guitar and sleeves of tattoos is connecting with audiences all across the country. Inspirations from Garth Brooks and George Strait led Carter to release a second studio album with multi Grammy Award-winning producers Chad Carlson (Taylor Swift) and Mark Bright (Carrie Underwood). Carter has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in country music including Sam Hunt, Chase Rice, and Travis Tritt.

Returning to the Jam Stage is Triple Tigers Records Star Russell Dickerson. With more than 30 million streams on Spotify and more than three million views on YouTube, Dickerson most recently toured with Thomas Rhett, Kelsea Ballerini, and Ryan Hurd. Dickerson will take a break from his own headlining tour to play Rochelle. His power ballad “Yours” was named the biggest love song of 2016. The country music artist recently performed on NBC’s Today Show, ABC’s the Bachelorette, and the Grand Ole Opry. Dickerson’s Debut Album featuring Yours and Tacoma is avaibale for pre-order. The debut album is due Oct. 13.
Headliner
Headlining the COUNTRY Financial Summer Country Jam is Arista Nashville/RCA Records Recording Artist CAM. The multi-nominated artist is on her first headlining tour. The Burning House Tour is named after her biggest hit. CAM’s debut album Untamed burst onto Billboard’s Top Album Chart at #2 and earned best first-week album sales by a debut country artist.
Her wide-range artistry is multi-dimensional. The singer/songwriter has been described as powerfully vulnerable (“Burning House”), fierce and defiant (“Runaway Train”), and effervescent and carefree (“My Mistake”). Cam is set to open select dates for Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s 2017 Soul2Soul Tour. She too has stood in the legendary circle of the Grand Ole Opry.
DJ DU will get the After Party started with his unique Nashville blend from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Flight Deck Bar & Grill. A concert ticket is required and you must be 21 or older. DJ DU is the official remix DJ of “The Breakfast Blend” with Storme Warren on Sirius/XM’s The Highway. He has performed at the CMA Music Fest, Country Thunder, and NASCAR’s Bristol Motor Speedway. He’s opened for Jason Aldean on his Night Train and Burn It Down Tours, was part of Music City’s New Year’s Eve Bash on Broadway with Lady Antebellum, and has played directly in front of Sam Hunt, Jake Owen, Chase Rice, Rascal Flatts, Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban, and Old Dominion. DJ DU brings a new channel of entertainment with high-energy audio, vibrant visuals, and the newest remixes of country, rock, and pop music.
New fundraiser
New to the Jam is Cash & Country 50/50 Raffle. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 and are available at the Chamber, The Rack, Colonial Flowers, and at the door. The pot is growing rapidly. The winning ticket will be drawn onstage at 8:30 p.m. A single winner will receive half of the money collected.
A part of the proceeds from the Jam will benefit Musicians On Call, a nonprofit organization that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities. By delivering live, in-room performances to patients undergoing treatment or unable to leave their beds, Musicians On Call adds a dose of joy to life in a healthcare facility. Since 1999, their volunteer musicians have performed for nearly half a million patients and their families.
