OGLE COUNTY — On Thursday, Sept. 28, Mr. Charles Spray presented a donation to the Ogle County Special Olympics in the amount of $600 in honor of the Diana Spray Memorial Fund. Her Memorial fund also contributed to the Serenity House in Oregon and the Monroe Center Fire Department.
Diana Spray worked for the Ogle County Education Cooperative for 36 years as a Paraprofessional and Bus Driver. She was dedicated to her job and the students who she referred to as “my kids.” She deeply cared for others; Mrs. Spray volunteered her time to the Special Olympics and community. Local Ogle County Special Olympic athletes participate in bowling, basketball and track. The donation will go towards the purchase of new uniforms for the athletes of the Ogle County Special Olympics.
