HOLCOMB — On Saturday morning at 9:55 a.m. the Lynn-Scott-Rock Fire Department was called to the railroad line along Junction Road south in Holcomb.
A track hoe on the railroad was fully engulfed upon arrival.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire from Junction Road in approximately 20 minutes.
The track hoe was a total loss. No injuries were sustained by rail employees or firefighters.
