Five refuse treatment following single vehicle crash

On Jan. 24 at 8:28 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies along with Ashton EMS responded to the 7000 block of East Flagg Road for a single vehicle crash with injuries. After an investigation, it was determined that Sarah Stoecker, 23, of Chillicothe, had lost control of her Ford SUV while driving westbound on Flagg Road causing her vehicle to travel into the south ditch striking a utility pole. All five occupants were checked by Ashton EMS and refused treatment. Travis House, 23, of Chillicothe, was the front seat passenger of the vehicle and was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. House was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
On Jan. 24 at approximately 2:02 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies performed a traffic stop in the 1000 block of North Freeport Road. After investigation, deputies placed Isaiah Holmes, 21, of Houston, Texas, under arrest for no valid driver’s license. Holmes was additionally issued citations for improper display of registration and expired registration. Holmes was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
