Rochelle – The Rochelle Area Community Foundation Board this week announced the appointment of local residents Kathy Hollonbeck and Dennis Berg as directors.
“Kathy and Dennis bring vast professional experience along with a passion for the community to the Foundation Board. Their skills in finance, management and communication will help drive the growth and effectiveness of the organization, we are fortunate to have the opportunity to utilize their talent,” Kim Montgomery, executive director said.
Hollonbeck has been actively involved in the community since moving here with her five children in 1972. She has owned and operated a successful real estate investment company, KGH Investments, served as a Rochelle City Councilwoman and is active in several local organizations including the League of Women Voters.
Berg also served for many years as a Rochelle City Councilman and retired as a construction manager from the telecommunications industry after 33 years. He is married to Avis, his wife of 43 years.
The Rochelle Area Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the residents of the Rochelle Township High School District with donor services, grant making and community leadership.
