Man arrested for DUI after accident in Ogle County

On Aug. 31 at 9:44 p.m. the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office along with the Lynn Scott Rock Fire Dept. responded to a single vehicle injury crash on IL Route 251 near Lindenwood Road.
Investigation by deputies revealed that a northbound vehicle driven by Miguel Cortes, 46, of Rockford, left the east side of the roadway and traveled into a cornfield where it overturned several times.
Cortes was extricated from the vehicle and transported by ambulance to Rochelle Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Cortes was subsequently arrested for DUI and improper lane usage and released on an I-bond to appear in court at a later date.
On Aug. 29 the following were arrested for outstanding Ogle County warrants:

Gregory M. Bradford, 27, of Rockford, for failure to appear. Bradford did not post the $2,820.23 full cash bond and remains in the Ogle County Jail. Bradford will appear in court on Sept. 4.
Shane R. Brogan, 21, of Rockford, for domestic battery. Brogan did not post the $25,000/10 percent applies bond and remains in the Ogle County Jail. Brogan was scheduled to appear in court Aug. 30.
Brian J. Miller, 33, of Rockford, for failure to appear with a full cash bond of $1,922. Miller posted $601 and was released. Miller will appear in court on Sept. 4.
Shon E. Yarbrough, 40, of Savannah, Tennessee, for contempt of court. Yarbrough posted the $15,000/10 applies bond and was released. Yarbrough will appear in court on Sept. 21.
On Aug. 30 at approximately 7:55 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a one vehicle rollover accident in the 2200 block of W. Montague Road. The driver and lone occupant, Deryl Beyer, was transported by German Valley Fire/ambulance, to Freeport Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
On Aug. 30 the following were arrested for outstanding Ogle County warrants:
Dandre A. James, 39, of East Moline, for failure to appear. James did not post the $168 full cash bond and remains in the Ogle County Jail. James was scheduled to appear in court Aug. 31.
Donnie J. Weeks, 27, of Loves Park, for failure to appear with a full cash bond of $637. Weeks remained in the Ogle County Jail and was scheduled to appear in court Aug. 31.
