On May 25, Jerry Heinze, 46, of Rockford, was arrested for failure to appear. Heinze had a bond of $3,548. Heinze was given a recognizance bond of $1,000. Heinze was released from the Ogle County Jail and has to return to court on June 25.
On May 25 at approximately 5:29 p.m., deputies initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of South Main St. and First Ave. in Rochelle. After further investigation, Billy Clark, 55, of Rockford, was placed under arrest for driving while license suspended and an outstanding Rockford Police Department warrant. Clark posted bond and was given future court dates in Winnebago and Ogle County courts.
On May 25 at approximately 10:27 p.m., deputies initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of First Ave. and Caron Rd. in Rochelle. After further investigation, Kayla Martin, 26, of Rochelle, was placed under arrest for driving while license suspended and no valid driver’s license. Martin was released on an I-bond and will appear in ogle County Courts at a later date.
On May 25 8:18 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff deputies along with Rochelle police conducted a traffic stop on a 2017 white Ford F150. After a short investigation, a 14-year-old juvenile from Mendota was placed under arrest for no valid driver’s license. The juvenile was given an I-bond and a return court date.
