ROCHELLE — Take a break from the kitchen on Wednesday, April 11, while helping to support the Focus House at the 17th annual Spaghetti Supper from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Proceeds from the event directly benefit the residents at Focus House.
There will be a 50/50 raffle along with raffles for a handmade queen size quilt and a wide variety of gift baskets.

Bonnie Moore, Focus House administrative assistant, expressed gratitude for the continuing support the community gives to the organization.
“The suppers have become somewhat of a tradition in the community. We rely on the support of our community to be able to continue our work and support of our youth,” Moore said. “The community has been very gracious with their support in the past and we are very humbled by that because we couldn’t do it without them.”
Over 30 baskets with themes such as home décor, makeup and hair accessories, food, garden and blooms, wine, massage, tools, fun and games, movie night, and sports are to be raffled. There are also several golf packages as well.
Focus House is a residential facility for youth located in Ogle County, serving youth from across northern Illinois who are court involved and for a variety of reasons are unable to live with their families. Serving about 12-15 youth at any given time, the Focus House attempts to help these young people make better choice for their future and become positive contributors to their communities.
Prices for the spaghetti supper, which includes garlic bread, salad, dessert, and beverage are $8 for adults, seniors (65+) $7, and children ages 5-12 $5. Those under 5 years of age will eat free of charge. Take out is available.
The foundation for Focus House is a not-for-profit agency and relies on fundraisers and donations from the community and is located at 3279 Ill. Rte. 251, Rochelle.
