ROCHELLE — The Flagg-Rochelle Community Park District Board of Commissioners held a special meeting Monday evening to approve multiple resolutions including bids for its Spring Lake OSLAD Project as well as fitness center equipment and flooring for The REC.
The park board approved five separate bids from Sjostrom & Sons Incorporated for various improvements at the Spring Lake Pool facility. The combined $693,100 cost includes a $488,000 base bid, two bids totaling $166,500 for timber wall construction and two bids totaling $38,600 for diving board and umbrella installations. The park board also approved an alternate bid from U.S. Communities worth $96,562.65 for equipment and installation of the splash pad.
