ROCHELLE — Community members are welcome to enjoy a free traditional Thanksgiving meal at the VFW Post 3878 in Rochelle on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, vegetables, dinner rolls and a variety of desserts will be served. Carryout and delivery meals are available. Wilma Adamski at the VFW asks those interested in attending to please call the VFW so they know how much food to prepare.
“The VFW encourages the community to have your Thanksgiving meal here with us,” Adamski said. “We have several volunteers who can deliver meals to those who cannot be here for the dinner.”
