Mark Allan Soles, age 65 of DeKalb, formerly of Rochelle passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at OSF St. Anthony Hospital, Rockford, after suffering a severe head trauma from an accident on his motorized bicyle in DeKalb.

Susan Jean (Kosterman) Bauman, 65, of Sycamore, passed away unexpectedly at her home Monday, January 22, 2024. 

Jane Helen Reineck, 70, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Thomas Carpenter Westin, 84, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at the Rochelle Community Hospital in Rochelle, IL. 

Our much loved brother and friend, Gary Raymond Arends, passed away in his home in Elizabethtown, Kentucky on Jan. 8, 2024.

Betty Jean (Eckhardt) Baker passed away at the age of 95 on December 15, 2023 at Patriot Place in Berlin, WI., after a long battle with dementia.

Brian Daniel Young was born on March 9, 1970 in Rochelle, Illinois. He passed away on December 30, 2023 after a very sudden decline in his health. Brian was only 53 years of age.

William (Bill) Kirchhofer passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 24, 2023 in his home at The Meadows in Franklin Grove, Illinois.

Dennis Gale Berg passed away at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL on December 25, 2023. He was born on December 22, 1950 in Harvard, Illinois. He was the son of Gale and Mary Ellen (O’Malley) Berg.

Donald B. Campbell, 88, of Galena, IL, died peacefully on December 22, 2023. The Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena is assisting the family. Don, and Priscilla, who predeceased him in 2020, lived in the Galena Territory for over 25 years.
